The Hellenic Initiative Canada invites you to the inaugural Toronto Launch event at the Palais Royale on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. The Toronto Launch will offer the opportunity to bring like-minded individuals together to support our humanitarian efforts in providing direct crisis relief in Greece, by contributing to the partner charities of the THI: SOS Villages Greece; Doctors of the World Greece; and Prolepsis/Diatrofi.
SOS Children’s Villages Greece provides abandoned, orphaned and destitute children with permanent housing and education, as well as tools and resources to prepare them for independent adult life. Doctors of the World-Greece provide access to medical care to those that are vulnerable, often marginalized and poor. Prolepsis/Diatrofi distributes healthy and nutritious meals, at no cost, to all students in hundreds of participating Greek public schools.
