The Unknown Tales of Toronto's Greektown & the Danforth
The video will be presented at the Panarcadian Federation of Canada located at 450 Danforth Avenue.
From the archive collection of the Greek Canadian History Project, comes teh screening of a previously undiscovered video that highlights an important moment from the Trojan Horse, the Danforth's scene for political activism during Greece's military dictatorship.
Following the screening, George Papadatos will be speaking about the musical, educational and cultural influences of professor Sylvia Mittler on Greek heritage in Toronto.
The event is accessible for English and Greek speakers.
