We are excited to announce the 1st Pan-Canadian Hellenic Education Conference, which will be held in Toronto from September 15 to 17, 2017.
The Conference is organized by the Head of the Office for Educational Affairs at the Consulate General of Greece in Canada, in collaboration with the Hellenic Studies Programs of the University of Toronto and York University, the Office of Greek Education of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Toronto (Canada), the Greek Community of Toronto & GCT Department of Education and the Association of Hellenic Language Teachers of Ontario.
The objective of this Conference is to present the activities, challenges and perspectives of existing Greek language and culture programs at all educational levels (primary, secondary, and tertiary) and community undertakings in Canada and, more broadly, in North America.
The Conference is addressed to educators of all levels, scientists, researchers, students, education officers and Diaspora organizations operating within the sector of Hellenic Education and the Greater Greek Canadian community.
During the Conference, various aspects of Hellenic education and the Greek Canadian community will be presented in keynote lectures, workshops, presentations and round table discussions.
